This place of luxuriant nature presents several pedestrian routes where tradition, art and sport go hand in hand, such as “Pedra do Galo”, “Passeio das Figuras”, “Passeio A Ver o Mar” and “Passeio dos Poetas”, as well as the Centro Cyclin' Lagos, with nine thematic routes to explore with your bicycle.
The Forest is also crossed by the Via Algarviana, a large pedestrian route that connects Alcoutim to Cabo de São Vicente over 300 km in length, running through the interior of the region.
It has a picnic area and several structures for the practice of sports, including a maintenance track with obstacles, and six itineraries for both walking and mountain biking.
Inside the forest is the Pedra Branca Menhir, attributed to the Nero-Chalcolithic period.
